  • Medical and Surgical Mortality. The percentage of patients who died within 30 days of having been admitted to the hospital for selected types of cases, after adjustment for hospital differences in patient characteristics.
  • Physicians' Rating*. The percentage of doctors who rated the hospital "very good" or "excellent".
  • Accreditation Score*. Score given by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
  • Overall Score. Total rating taking all the measures into consideration. Ratings range from 2007 to 8797 and take into account other measures besides those shown on the chart.
