Frequently Asked Questions About the New Format for the Universal Crossword on AARPmagazine.org

May 2004

We recently unveiled a new format for the popular Universal Crossword—a switch made necessary by changes in the underlying technologies. The new format offers several enhancements that we're very excited about:

  • the ability to save your puzzle-in-progress to be finished later
  • more print options—print the unsolved puzzle grid, print your partially solved puzzle, or print the puzzle solution
  • larger, easier-to-read clues
  • the option to display the puzzle in full-screen mode
  • and much more

If you have any difficulties loading, navigating, or managing the new Universal Crossword, please review the list of frequently asked questions and answers below.
