Do you remember when FDR became president? The landing of the first man on the moon? The hula hoop craze? Take a trip back through America's most memorable moments, and create a personalized film to share with family and friends.
For each year from 1930 to 2002, you'll find a video clip that highlights a landmark news event or trend.
Click on any video clip's thumbnail to preview the clip in the larger box on the upper right side of the screen. Use the navigation buttons below it to play the video.
When you find a video clip that you want to use in your DocYOUmentary, click and drag the thumbnail onto the film reel at the bottom of the screen. (Arrange the clips in any order you choose. You can select up to 10 clips.)
In the text box on the right side of the screen, type a personal message that corresponds to each clip as you add them to the film reel. (You can change the text at any time by clicking on the corresponding thumbnail in the film reel.)
Preview your movie by clicking on the Preview button under the film reel.
When you're satisfied with your masterpiece, click the Send button to share it with family and friends via email.
