Spiced Nuts
November & December 2004

This super easy snack is great to have on hand for the holidays or to use as
a hostess gift packed in a pretty tin.
(Makes 5 cups)
- 2 (12-ounce) cans salted mixed nuts
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine all ingredients.
2. Spread mixture in one layer on jellyroll pan or cookie sheet and bake for
about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Make-ahead tip: Prepare several days ahead and store in airtight
container.
