Eligibility: The AARP The Magazine “Movies For Grownups®” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the U.S. who are 45 years of age or older. Employees of AARP, its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, and promotional or marketing agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees are not eligible. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

How To Enter: Sweepstakes begins January 24, 2008 and ends March 24, 2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter, complete and submit an online entry form at www.aarpmagazine.org/movies. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, March 24, 2008 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, late, or misdirected entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

Winner Selection: One (1) Grand Prize Winner and five (5) Second Prize Winners will be selected on or about Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The prize drawing will be conducted by AARP The Magazine, whose decisions in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. Limit one (1) prize per person.

Prizes and Odds: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a A Nintendo Wii gaming system and game package. Approximate retail value $500.00. Each of the five (5) Second Prize Winners will receive a $50.00 Movie Gift Card redeemable at the participating movie theater(s) indicated on card. Approximate aggregate retail value of Movie Gift Cards $250.00. Movie Gift Card usage is subject to terms and conditions of participating theatre and retailer. Approximate odds of winning are 1:20,000, but actual odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Winners may waive their right to receive a prize. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize or any component thereof is not available. Grand Prize delivery may take 4-6 weeks for shipment. Winners will be notified by Sponsor by mail no later than April 11, 2008. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within 14 days of the date on the prize notification. Sponsor’s inability to reach a winner, the return of any prize notification as undeliverable and/or a winner’s failure to timely respond to prize notification, sign and return the required affidavit/release, or comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor.

General Conditions: Your entry in this Sweepstakes constitutes your consent to be bound by these rules, the decisions of the judges and for the use of your information for the purposes of administration of this sweepstakes, other purposes agreed to in the entry form. Selected entry is subject to verification prior to awarding a prize. If selected as a winner, you agree to the Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, city and state of residence for advertising and trade purposes and online without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants are solely responsible for their own conduct and agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of each, from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
